NegOcc advocacy center boosts environment protection

BACOLOD CITY - The Negros Occidental provincial government has strengthened its campaign to further protect its natural resources through the establishment of the Provincial Education and Advocacy Center for Environment or PEACE. As of Tuesday, the Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO), tasked to manage the center, has networked with at least 22 organizations serving as environmental partners, which harmoniously work together based on their respective mandates towards environmental sustainability. Lawyer Julie Ann Bedrio, PEMO head, invited groups wanting to participate in the conservation, protection, and rehabilitation (CPR) campaign and wish to join the center to get in touch with their office.
