PROVINCETOWN Theater fans have been able to see Tennessee Williams’ dramas on Broadway, but how about experiencing them in Broadway song?
That’s what cabaret performer Amy Jo Jackson offers in her “The Brass Menagerie” show, and she’ll bring two excerpts (based on “The Rose Tattoo” and “Suddenly Last Summer”) as entertainment for the just-announced June 5 gala for the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival.
The festival successfully used outdoor locations around town last fall, and, with continued COVID-19 concerns, organizers determined that outdoors would also be the best strategy to resume its annual fundraiser in person.
