PLANS to build a business park on the site of the former Leyland test track that could create up to 260 jobs have been unveiled. The plans for the development, to be known as Titan Business Park, were submitted by PWA Planning on behalf of Preston-based Providence Gate Group Holdings to South Ribble Council. The new business park will include office facilities, warehouse buildings, a petrol station, drive-through restaurant and car parks. Province Gate Holdings director Charlie Openshaw said: “Our aim is to make this an attractive meeting place which complements the rest of the site. “It will provide individuals working at, or visiting, these units the opportunity to eat, drink and work on site, without having to travel extensively.”
