KATHMANDU, April 23: The Supreme Court (SC) refused to issue an interim order in the writ petition filed against the government of Sudurpaschim province and instead has scheduled a final hearing on May 5 prioritizing the petition.
KATHMANDU, April 21: A case has been filed in the Supreme Court (SC) regarding the formation of the Sudurpaschim Province government. Laxman Kishore Chaudhary, representing the Resham Chaudhary faction of the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), appeared before the SC on Sunday to initiate legal proceedings.
KAILALI, April 5: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister (CM) Kamal Bahadur Shah has resigned after facing uncertainty in securing the vote of confidence from the provincial assembly.
