Ntsb says lowering the limits to 0. 05 is one step to stop drunk drivers and tonight is a debate were hearing already has mixed reviews. Grabbing a drink or two after work is common for some, but recent ntsb recommendations to lower the legal limit could change the amount of alcohol people drink before getting behind the wheel. I dont see any real benefit there. I dont believe it is going to make much difference going from 0. 08 to 0. 05. For social drinkers like james and john, they say its easy to grab an uber or designated driver. One or two beers shouldnt be an issue. It should be left to the doctors and not the transportation board. For the family of Lisa Hastings the debate is a personal story. Hastings was 22 years old when she was killed by a drunk driver on route 128 while on her mother, karen, says she supports lowering the limit because every little step can help. Something has to be done. It happens every day. And when it hits home, its bad. These are peoples lives. They lo

About that . I am very pleased today to stand here on this project. I have talked to you several times about the importance of your water supply level, and the commitment that this body made to your customers built in staoet and your wholesale customers to limit rashing to no more than twebt 20 percent and this is one of those projects that will enable you to meet that commitment and so that purpose it will provide a 7. 2 million gallons of water a day during a dry year and i have said rntion would it be great if i had that today and it would make a huge difference for the current water supply, and so it is critically important, and i enthusiastickly support it on behalf of my agencies and i appreciate the efforts of the puc staff, to bring this project to fruition and it has been a long time in coming and my member agencies and the three of them who are the Partner Agencies who are supportive of this and really excited about this project moving forward. I urge you to vote yes on it. T
