The NHS update lists where a case has occurred in pupils or staff who are attending the school, and where five or more school contacts have been required to isolate after contact tracing has taken place. Where less than five potential contacts have been identified, these cases will not be included for reasons of pupil/ staff confidentiality. Also tonight (Monday), it s been confirmed an individual with links to Dunfermline High School has tested positive for COVID-19. In a letter to parents, the school stated: Working with NHS Fife Public Health and the Test and Protect Team, we have identified a number of pupils as potential contacts, who should self-isolate as a precautionary measure.
HEALTH bosses have blamed the steep increase in Covid-19 cases in Inverclyde over the festive period on the mixing of people in local hospitality venues. The area saw an astronomical increase in positive coronavirus cases at the end of 2020, with Public Health Scotland figures revealing there were 581 cases per 100,000 people reported in the seven days from December 28.
