SOCIAL SERVICES BLOCK GRANT PROPOSED REPORT ON PROJECTED EXPENDITURES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW The Social Services Block Grant Proposed Report on Projected Expenditures for fiscal year 2023, is now available for public review. South Dakota citizens have from May 9, to May 31, 2022, to review and comment on the proposed report before it becomes final. Social Services Block Grant services, as outlined in the proposed report, include six major categories of services, including: protective services adults, home based services, adoption services, protective service children, foster care services children and residential treatment. These services, in most cases, are available without charge to families with incomes below sixty percent of state median income guidelines.
