Jesus says: “He who endures to the end will be saved.”
For the believer, the glorious end justifies the suffering means.
One day, as I was reading Jesus’ Sermon of the Mount yet again, I suddenly heard the Lord say to me, deep within my spirit-man: “Femi, the end justifies the means.”
What does this have to do with the beatitudes? Can we, should we, justify the end by the means? Is it godly to do so? I decided to search the scriptures for the answer.
Immediately, the whole thing opened to me like a book. I discovered that, in the kingdom of God, the end always justifies the means.

A string of insults, a bag of foul language, blaring character assassination and the speech still ends with “God Bless Kenya!” How is God supposed to fit comfortably in such a dark sentence?
Such is the conflicting form of our politicians’ speeches. Their boldness to accuse others of moral failures, while they themselves have a forest of logs in their eyes, is often dizzying.

For a while now, I have followed the relationship between the Born-Again pastors in Uganda and politics. I am a Born-again Christian myself.
It looks like pastors have lost direction to spiritually steward the country, considering that they do the exactly opposite of what they are meant to do. I mean evil is prevailing in this nation because our good leaders are doing nothing.
A case in point is the recently concluded elections. Some pastors were quick to question, dismiss and demonise the most serious challenger to President Museveni, associating him with groups such as illuminati, goons, homosexuals, negative foreign elements, etc.
