KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 The Government’s latest move to raised the monthly household income eligibility for Rumah Mesra Rakyat (RMR) applications is expected to benefit.

Upgrading work on lifts at Desa Rejang Public Housing in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur is expected to commence soon.
In a statement to StarMetro, IM Global Property Consultants Sdn Bhd said the lifts were disabled after an inspection was done by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) on April 21.
The inspection, which takes place every year, identified major faults with the lifts.
The company was appointed by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Commissioner of Buildings to manage the 12 blocks of flats since Oct 1, 2019.
It said DOSH had instructed for upgrading work to be carried out on all 34 cars at the flats to renew the certificate of fitness of the lifts.
