CALLS have been made for better repairs at a car park where a pensioner suffered serious injuries in a fall. Geraldine McNealey, 73, was left with a broken wrist and black eye, as well as facial cuts and bruises, after tripping over an edging stone sticking out of the ground at Paton’s Mill retail park in Johnstone last year. She later contacted 4th Property Services, which manages the car park on behalf of its owners and local retailers, about conducting repairs to prevent future accidents. However, after further inspection of the work completed at the car park, Geraldine believes the site remains a danger to older people who use the local shops.
