By Victor Omondi Color of Change is at it again, and as always, seeking a racism-free work environment. They’ve recently mounted pressure on Google to reconsider an external audit over its racial equity policies. The initiative that has had several successful campaigns against other tech giants has set its eyes on Google, and they don’t seem to flinch.  The Color of Change initiative has called out Google’s YouTube on several issues including, claims of support, or rather, allowing the continued spread of extremist and white nationalist content.   The initiative wrote to the company’s top leadership, including Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai, reminding them that allowing a public audit of the company’s “racial equity, civil rights, and anti-discrimination policies” would help them identify their strength and weaknesses.
