Officials said that the administration has also clarified that if defects are found and require repairs, half the expense would have to be borne by the RWA and the other half by the builder.
Earlier this month, a primary survey of 55 condominiums was done on the orders of the district administration. Of these, 23 were shortlisted for checks on cracks in plaster, plaster falling off the walls, and water seepage, among others.
Once the firms submit a report to the district administration, deputy commissioner Nishant Yadav will finalise a list of 15 residential societies with serious structural deficiencies, where the agencies will conduct a detailed structural audit.
