Police have arrested 13 people, seized several luxury vehicles and confiscated more than 75 kilograms of illegal drugs as part of an interprovincial drug trafficking investigation that brought charges against the owner of a Winnipeg bagel shop.
The Winnipeg Police Service has arrested and charged 13 people, and seized more than $7 million worth of drugs as part of a trafficking investigation that spanned Ontario and British Columbia.
The province is asking the court to seize and freeze the bank accounts of a man who owns a small bagel shop in Winnipeg, accusing him of being a high-ranking member of a drug trafficking network.
