On Dec. 5, the Illinois Farm Bureau hosted its first ever virtual annual meeting. Even though our members were unable to celebrate like we usually do at the Palmer House Hotel in downtown Chicago, it was still a memorable event.
Illinois Farm Bureau President Richard Guebert Jr. delivered his president’s address. During this presentation he shared many of the accomplishments of Illinois Farm Bureau and our members during this past year.
Accomplishments include: Defeating the Progressive Income Tax Constitutional Amendment with a strong statewide grassroots campaign. IAA Foundation awarded more than $930,000 in grants and scholarships for college student and county agriculture literacy programs.
