SINGAPORE, May 2 Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyidin Yassin’s official visit to Singapore which was initially scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to later this year, according to Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein today.
“This is due to the prime minister’s current focus to address the rising Covid-19 numbers recently in Malaysia,” said Hishammuddin, who arrived here yesterday for a two-day official visit to Singapore.

The Development and Humanitarian Programme Manager (DH PM) has responsibility for the management of Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) programme activities related to all DHC programmes and projects in Iraq (Protection, Women Empowerment, Democracy and Human Rights and Relief). The DH PM is formally responsible to, and reports to, Country Director for Iraq/Syria, based in Erbil, but reports thematically also to NPA Development and Humanitarian Cooperation (DHC) at Head Office in Oslo.
The planning and implementation of the programme is carried out in close collaboration with the NPA Iraq Management Team and under the overall auspices of the Country Director for NPA Iraq/Syria, based in Iraq.

PUTRAJAYA, April 11 Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the roles of the Social Welfare Department (JKM) as well as its employees would continue to be empowered through the implementation of several initiatives to ensure the delivery of efficient and people-friendly welfare assistance services.
Among the initiatives included the restructuring of JKM which cover efforts to enhance the delivery of aid, streamlining of posts as well as improving the distribution of duties apart from granting special allowances to JKM staff who serve at risk areas such as senior citizen and people with disabilities (OKU) institutions, he said.
