New Program Incentive To Buy Locally Grown Produce
The Broome County Regional Farmers Market is excited about a new program that will create more incentive to buy locally grown produce to local farmers markets
According to a news release from Cornell, a grant from the Field and Fork Network will help provide some extra benefits to SNAP / EBT customers (formally the Food Stamp Program)
The program is called Double-Up Bucks and can be used to purchase up to $20 in additional money towards the purchase of NYS grown fruits and vegetables.
