India Business News: MUMBAI: The sensex closed lower on Tuesday due to profit-taking by investors after a record-breaking rally and ahead of release of key inflation numbe.
The currency strengthened by a centavo to P55.39 versus the dollar, while the benchmark Philippine Stock Market index (PSEi) lost 44.43 points, or 0.7 percent, to end the day at 6,265.14.
