The National Assembly passed a students' loan bill in the second half of November. The bill, sponsored by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila purportedly seeks to ease access to public education by providing tuition loans to students whose family's annual income is less than five hundred thousand naira.
