Whereas for HIV, that jump occurred 100 years ago in around the 1920s, and it became a problem in the 1980s when it started spreading among humans to a much greater extent.

Stone is advocating a worrying combination of therapy for patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection and Covid-19. In a letter of complaint to Ms Mwakutuya, the Registrar of Medical and Dental professional Council of Zimbabwe signed by Professor Rashida Ferrand, a Specialist Physician and Professor of International Health and Associate Professor Katharina Kranzer, an Associate Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology, the health professionals said Stone’s actions needed urgent review.
