Thin-film technology plays a crucial role in combating climate change. The Mads Clausen Institute at SDU in Sønderborg is a world leader in organic solar cell research and has just set up a brand new research centre, CAPE, to make ultra-thin, flexible and transparent solar cells an integral part of our everyday lives and an important part of the green transition. At the same time, the centre's expertise and experience will be used in the research and development of energy storage and green hydrogen technologies.
