SINTEF researchers awarded the prestigious RCS Horizon award SINTEF researchers awarded the prestigious RCS Horizon award Chemists all over the world can now grow virtual crystals with the new software CrystalGrower. SINTEF s Duncan Akporiaye and Bjørnar Arstad are among the researchers that developed the software and were awarded this year s Horizon award for their achievement. The award is given by The Royal Chemistry Society (RCS).
The award goes to research contributions that highlights what the RCS defines as the most exciting, contemporary chemical science at the cutting edge of research and for teams or collaborations that opens up new directions or possibilities in their field.
