In the new charge sheet, Ebenezer Kwayisi aka Junior, a 25 year old mason apprentice has now been charged with murder. Opambour Agya Badu Nkansah also known as Enoch and Kwayisi have been jointly held for conspiracy to commit to wit murder. This was after the prime suspects James Nana Womba passed on while in Police custody.

Graphic Online BY: Justice Agbenorsi 30.5k Shares 705 After several weeks of absence, arguments and court orders on his health condition, the second suspect in the trial of the murder of former University of Ghana Law Lecturer, Professor Emmanuel Yaw Benneh, finally made his first appearance at the Kaneshie District Court after he was discharged from the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. Opambour Agya Badu Nkansah has been absent from court proceedings since October 14, 2020. The prosecution had told the court that Nkansah was indisposed and was receiving treatment at the Police Hospital. He was eventually sent to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where a surgery was performed on him.

+ The prosecution in the trial of the murder of former University of Ghana law lecturer, Professor Emmanuel Yaw Benneh, has finally submitted a comprehensive medical report on the second suspect, Opambour Agya Badu Nkansah. This comes weeks after the prosecution failed to produce the suspect before the court with the recent one being the failure of the prosecution to meet a 48-hour deadline given by the court to furnish it with the medical report. Nkansah, who is facing the court on charges of conspiracy and murder has been absent for eight consecutive times since October 14, 2020 after the prosecution had told the court that Nkansah was indisposed and was receiving treatment at the Police Hospital.
