Our correspondent learned that the vacation order followed an initial notice of termination of the contract issued on August 31st, 2020.
The 32.2km road was awarded in May 2017 during the administration of late Abiola Ajimobi.
The construction commenced in September 2017 and was scheduled to be completed by 18th March 2019 before the official contract termination order.
The Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Professor Dahud Sangodoyin on the orders of Governor Seyi Makinde has, however, urged the contractor to vacate the site.
Sangodoyin who visited the construction site announced the vacation order on Thursday.
