Bangladesh has a lot of potential to attract foreign funds to industries which abide by good environmental, social and corporate governance, according to analysts yesterday.
The stock market will be vibrant and turnover will rise further as the intermediaries are going to invest more, said Mohammad Rezaul Karim, spokesperson of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
Bangladesh’s stock market is not overvalued because it did not soar as fast as the economy rose over the years, said Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
