Gibson partners with KRK in audio education charity campaign
9th February 2021
Guitar giant Gibson has partnered with studio monitor specialist KRK on a new initiative aimed at providing studio gear to schools and other non-profit organisations to promote learning through music.
The partnership is formed by Gibson’s charitable arm, Gibson Gives, and KRK Systems, operating under the name KRK Kares. The campaign will see a variety of educational organisations and charities equipped with top of the range monitors and headphones to facilitate music education.
In November, KRK shipped 46 ROKIT 5 G4 studio monitors and 46 KNS headphones to music therapy charity Music Has Healing Power. These KRK products will be sent to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital’s in-house studios, which are currently being built. KRK is also working on additional charitable opportunities with organisations such as the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and Notes for Notes.
