EFLU Proctor Removed from Post: Students Demand Partially Fulfilled

EFLU Proctor removed from post, students call it partial fulfilment of demands The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad has appointed a new Proctor following student protests against the administration. Professor J Savithri will replace the previous Proctor, T Samson, who will now be EFLU's Dean of Planning. The protests began after a female student was sexually assaulted on campus. The students demanded the resignation of Vice Chancellor Suresh Kumar and Proctor T Samson, who allegedly downplayed the incident. The student body sees the appointment of a new Proctor as a partial fulfilment of their demands and continues their hunger strike until all demands are met. The Proctor, T Samson, has a history of targeting students who questioned his actions, as shown in the baseless FIR filed against 11 peaceful protestors. The administration's claim that the resignation of the Proctorial board was untenable is contradicted by the replacement of the Proctor.
