pro govinda: Maha Govt s Pro Govinda competition on Janmashtami: Here s how civic authorities ensure safety

The Maharashtra government has introduced the "Pro Govinda" competition as part of this year s Dahi Handi festivities in order to ensure the safety of participants. The competition will take place at the NSCI dome in Mumbai, with a pot suspended at a height of 40 feet. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners, with the first prize being ₹11 lakh. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has also made arrangements for 125 beds in civic hospitals across Mumbai to provide medical assistance to participants.
