The news of his demise was confirmed by the actress Priti Sapru who explained how the actor got him tested positive after having fever.

facebook Pintrest Veteran actor Satish Kaul, 73, who is best known as Lord Indra in BR Chopra’s magnum opus Mahabharat, passed away today after suffering from COVID-19 related complications. He had tested positive three days ago. Actress Priti Sapru, who was constantly in touch with him and also raised funds for him after he suffered a financial blow, says, “He had fever and tested positive three days ago. His sister, Sushma Kaul, informed me that she had asked him to undergo a COVID-19 test after he complained of fever. He passed away today at around 2 pm.” Priti had known Satish for almost 45 years. He would meet Priti’s father and seek his guidance as to how to get into films. “I was very young when I first met him. He would mostly wear white clothes and I found him so handsome. It’s a huge loss and I am finding it difficult to come to terms with his demise. I remember Satish as an extremely affectionate person,” says an emotional Priti.
