Tamás Priskin’s second half goal saw the Blues to a famous 1-0 Carling Cup semi-final first leg victory over a strong Arsenal side at Portman Road. Priskin curled home from the edge of the area after being sent away by Colin Healy with Town fully deserving their victory over Arsene Wenger’s lacklustre team.
Roy Keane says the Blues will definitely be without skipper David Norris, Grant Leadbitter and Gareth McAuley when they face Barnsley at Portman Road on Saturday (KO 3pm). The Town manager says he’s also unlikely to risk Darren O’Dea and Mark Kennedy, who are on their way back from injuries.
Boss Roy Keane says he is weighing up what changes to make for tonight’s third round Carling Cup tie at Millwall (KO 7.45pm). The Blues manager has confirmed that keeper Brian Murphy will start, while Tamás Priskin could also come into the side with Connor Wickham and Jason Scotland perhaps dropping to the bench.
