Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Expands Accountants Policy Into Georgia December 18, 2020 Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies has added Georgia to the list of states where it company offers its Accountants Professional Liability policy. Georgia is now the sixth state that the insurer offers this product to go along with Arizona, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. According to Lyle Hitt, chief insurance officer, the Accountants Professional Liability product is targeted toward CPA firms with up to $10 million annual revenue with larger firms considered on a case-by-case basis. The product features limits up to $3 million per claim and deductibles starting as low as $500.
