We grew up together, principal says
High school Principal Kevin Young addressed the graduates, pointing out their freshman year was his first year at the helm. We grew up together, he said. I will forever have a special place in my heart for the Class of 2021.
Young noted how much the world has changed since he graduated from Lexington in 1987.
The principal encouraged the students by telling them he was only a C student who cared mostly about basketball and hair bands.
Young said he spent more of his senior year roaming the halls instead of sitting in a classroom, adding if he could attain his position with his background, the graduates could as well.
