Princeton University Economic Development Organization is hosting a speaker series focused on the challenges international economic development organizations face and how they can be effective and ineffective in addressing those problems. This topic will be examined through two lenses: policy making and fieldwork. We will host a fireside chat with Dr. Jacob N. Shapiro on Thursday, April 4th, at 4:30 pm where we will discuss the content of his class “Policy Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century.” We will have pre-planned questions regarding his knowledge of international development organizations, the risks they face in their work, and the practices that they undertake that make them successful or unsuccessful.
