Princeton Teen Flown to Hospital After Being Hit By Vehicle Sunday

A Princeton teen was flown to an out-of-state hospital after she was hit by a vehicle in Caldwell County Sunday afternoon. Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to the 300 block of Dawson Road just before 4:00 p.m. and found that 13-year old Sierra Spalding was attempting to cross the road when she was hit by a car driven by 18-year old Deontaye Walls of Fredonia. He says Spalding was treated on the scene and later flown to Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville for injuries. Officers were assisted at the scene by Caldwell County EMS, Princeton Fire Department, and the Princeton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Officer.

Princeton Man Charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Marijuana

A disturbance led to the arrest of a Princeton man on several charges including trafficking drugs and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers responded to the disturbance around 6:50 Friday morning and made contact with 40-year old Micah Gray in the 500 block of Depot Street. He says officers determined Gray was under the influence of intoxicants and he was arrested for DUI. During a search, officers reportedly found multiple controlled substances and a handgun in his vehicle. Gray was charged with his second DUI offense, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, operating on a suspended license, his second offense for trafficking in a controlled substance greater than four grams of cocaine firearm enhanced, his second offense for trafficking marijuana firearm enhanced, and other vehicle and drug-related offenses.
