Crews are here getting the station back up and running. The power is not yet on yet. And theyre also trying to figure out what caused that coil insulator to fail and fall. Actually three of them we see missing here now on whats called a back bone. Now when the failure happened here it caused a dip in voltage and then the Ripple Effect into d. C. Pepco says that caused generators and all these huge facilities to then kick on and many of them require a manual switch in order to get the main power supply back up and running and pepco says thats the reason for all the delays and getting the power back on. Closer to where we should be this time of year and cooler than average in most of the area. Lets get it started with the weather cam. Were waking up to temperatures that are very similar to what we had yesterday at this time, but were not going to see that dramatic rise in temperatures that we had yesterday.
