The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the State Executive Council, with immediate effect. This was announced on Wednesday by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, saying all the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession. Aiyedatiwa was sworn in December 2023 as the governor of the state after the demise of the former governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who died in Germany from leukemia and was flown back to Nigeria earlier in January.
