AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo’s eldest son, Prince Azenathi Dalindyebo, has joined the ANC, saying he was embracing the family heritage where his ancestors played a critical role in the formation of the organisation.
The Mthatha High Court has ruled that Prince Azenathi Dalindyebo be allowed to stay at Bumbane Royal Palace near Mthatha and that his father, AbaThembu King Dalindyebo, returns to him all the items that he took from his son when he sent him packing.

The case of assault against AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo for allegedly attacking his son has been postponed.
The case was opened after Dalindyebo allegedly trespassed at the Bumbane Great Place, where his son and wife resided.
The incident happened just three months after Dalindyebo was released from jail on parole.

The NPA announced on Wednesday that the case was postponed for Dalindyebo s team to make representations to the National Director of Public Prosecutions.
