The Prince Albert Raiders have added a third goalie to their lineup.
The club announced on Friday morning that 16-year-old Max Hildebrand had signed with the team and has joined the squad in Regina after clearing protocols put in place by the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Western Hockey League.
Hildebrand, who is from Martensville, was a 13th round pick of the Raiders in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
After posting a 14-5-1 record with a 2.81 goals against average, an .896 save percentage and a shutout in 2019-20 for the Rink Hockey Academy’s Elite 15 program in Winnipeg, Hildebrand returned to his home province this season to play for the Saskatoon Contacts.
