DUBAI, 4th February, 2022 (WAM) flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, announced today the start of flights to Al Ula in Saudi Arabia, becoming the first UAE carrier to operate this route from Dubai.
The carrier will also resume its operations to Yanbu growing its network in the Kingdom to six points including Dammam, Jeddah, Madinah and Riyadh.
Flights to Yanbu International Airport (YNB), also known as Abdul Mohsin bin Abdulaziz International Airport, start on 24th February with a three times weekly service, on Tuesdays, Thursdays.

The General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities represented in its program management and tourism products, the implementation of tariff for a recent trip to the province, Ula, and Madain Saleh Airport, to mark the opening of Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdul Aziz in Al-Ula, and the participation of 13 tour operators licensed by the commission.
The participants in the trip visited a number of tourist sites and heritage in the Ela, such as the town, the quaint Museum of Ela, and the tombs of the black and free Auared and Madain Saleh, along with the rock elephant, in addition to interviewing members of the community, and visiting some farms out there and looking at the varied agricultural products, which are characterized
Also opening this year is a 77-key Banyan Tree resort, the first of the Accor brand to open in Saudi Arabia. Jones says the resort, which offers luxury tented villas, will be five-star-plus with resort style pools, and some spas and some amazing restaurants .
Other hotels scheduled to open include three Aman Resorts, one a luxury tented camp, another a desert ranch-style hotel and the third one of the hotel s group s new conscious mindset Janu hotels.
Other new hotels will be announced over the coming months and, by the end of 2023, there will be a total of 1,000 keys. Right now, accommodation options are all high-end offerings, so visitors should expect price points to match.
