PE Digest: Longreach exits Primo Japan; Oriens Capital acquires IVS Group

Japanese private equity (PE) firm The Longreach Group has sold 100% of shares in consumer products company Primo Japan, while New Zealand PE firm Oriens Capital has acquired a 70% stake in IVS Group.
Longreach Group exits Primo Japan
Japanese PE firm The Longreach Group has announced that it has completely exited Primo Japan, a consumer products company, for an undisclosed amount, to Integral Corporation.
Longreach acquired Primo, through the Longreach Capital Partners 2 fund, in January 2015 from Baring Private Equity Asia. The deal marked the PE firm’s first transaction in the consumer products sector.
