Picture: SUPPLIED Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama signed the condolence book for the late Grand Chief of Papua New Guinea Sir Michael Thomas Somare. The condolence book was opened at the Papua New Guinea High Commission in Suva, and it provided an opportunity for official representatives of the Government of Fiji, Diplomatic Corps, regional and international organisations to pay their respects and tribute to the Founding Father and first Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. The condolence book is open for signing from March 9 -11 and from March 15-19, 2021.

PM BAINIMARAMA SIGNS THE CONDOLENCE BOOK FOR THE LATE GRAND CHIEF SIR MICHAEL SOMARE 09/03/2021 Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama this afternoon signed the condolence book for the late Right Honourable Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare.   The condolence book was opened at the Papua New Guinea High Commission in Suva, providing an opportunity for official representatives of the Government of Fiji, Diplomatic Corps, Regional and International Organisations to pay their respects and tribute to the Founding Father and first Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, the Right Honourable Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare.   The condolence book is open for signing from 09 -11 March 2021 and from 15 -19 March 2021.
