It s been 411 days since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in the State of Idaho. While we ve always thought those working in healthcare were pretty spectacular, 411 days ago they were elevated to hero status.
Over the past year, our Treasure Valley healthcare heroes have put in long hours, covered extra shifts for their co-workers who d gotten sick on the job and selflessly put themselves at risk to treat those battling the coronavirus. Telangana High Court on Friday observed that the DGP’s status report did not mention if the police were maintaining cold chains to store the drugs or vaccines seized from hoarders.
Hearing a batch of PIL petitions on COVID-19, a bench of Chief Justice Hima Kohli and Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy said the police must ensure that the seized drugs or vaccines were stored in cold storage at specified temperatures so that they can be administered to COVID-19 patients.
