NSW Government will not decriminalise drugs, Attorney-General writes
A self-imposed deadline to respond to the Ice Inquiry will be missed by the NSW Government, as the Attorney-General admits reforms won t be handed down until next year.
Mark Speakman has addressed the contentious issue in an opinion piece, published on Monday evening, saying the debate is highly emotive but that the Government will work hard to get the response right. We will deliver that response in the new year, he wrote, declaring: the NSW Government will not decriminalise illicit drugs .
