A Northland GP who arrived in New Zealand 20 years ago with nothing more than a job offer and $78 in his pocket has been awarded the country s highest honour for rural medicine. Grahame Jelley, who until recently worked at The Doctors in Kerikeri, has been named this year s winner of the Peter Snow Memorial Award.
