Volusia County Announces Next COVID-19 Vaccine Events

Feb 7, 2021 9:09 AM DeLand, FL - Registration opens at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, February 8, for the next COVID-19 vaccine events at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, 3150 E. New York Ave., DeLand, this week. Vaccination appointments will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 9 and 11. The County of Volusia/Department of Health-Volusia County say there are 1,000 appointments available each day. The events are for Florida residents age 65 and older.  The site will operate as a drive-up site and pre-registration is required. Only the Moderna vaccine will be provided at this site. Appointments are required and must be made online at www.countyofvolusia.eventbrite.com or by calling 866-345-0345. You will need proof of Florida residency at your appointment. Feb 1, 2021 2:46 PM DeLand, FL - The next COVID-19 vaccination event in Volusia County is scheduled for this Thursday and Friday, February 4th and 5th, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Volusia County Fairgrounds. Registration opens on Wednesday, February 3rd at 9 a.m. Registration is being done through the eventbrite.com website. If you don t have a computer, would prefer to try to schedule an appointment over the phone, or for questions you can call 866-345-0345. The County reminds people that either way will likely see delays in getting through on the website or over the phone.
