Dan schenamen has more from new york. A brutal attack in broad daylight. Two new York City Police officers gunned down as they sat in their patrol car in the neighborhood of bedstuy. The suspect ismaaiyl brinsley, walked up to the police car. He took a shooting stance on the passenger side and fired the weapon his weapon several times through front passenger window, striking both officers in the head. Reporter Emergency Personnel rushed the two policemen to the hospital. Despite every effort to save their lives, both officers tragically succumbed to their injuries. Reporter police say the suspect ran to a subway station and shot himself. Crews were unable to revive him. Brinsley was wanted in connection to a shooting on saturday morning. A female was shot and seriously wounded by brinsley at her residence. This is stunning. This is an anomaly and we are all stunned.
