These snow squalls mean business, reducing visibility and moving quickly across the Delaware Valley, they are thin lines of bursts of snow and you can see them, theyre rotating around our area of low pressure, our noreaster thats along the area but i want to draw your attention to this squall that moved down from the Lehigh Valley into parts of upper bucks creating some icy conditions and some accidents. Right now its been between bucks and Montgomery County right along you can see right here 611 through doylestown, warrington, warminster as well. Toward upper moreland it may make it into abington. These are very narrow bands of snow and you can see the visibilities right now. It looks like theres no issue but look to the north quakertown last half hour 1. 5 visibility, now its up to 9mile visibility so you can see how the visibility can change very quickly. Our iwitness cam from Montgomery County jessica from pennsburg shows the snow on her outdoor decorations and a little bit of a coating on the grass. Winter weather advisory still in effect until 4 00 a. M. For the poconos where we expect most of the snow, 1 to 3 inches. Winds still gusting to 36 miles an hour in the poconos, 25 miles an hour right now in millville and in atlantic city. So, overnight some snow squalls mainly to the north and west of philadelphia creating slippery and icy roads. Up to a half inch in some of the heavier squalls. Use caution during the overnight. Tomorrow morning temperatures will be in the 30s, wind chills only in the 20s. The good news is jessica well warm up in the seven day. Ill have more on that coming up later in the broadcast. We are following a development tonight in the disappearance of West Chester University student Shane Montgomery. Sources tell us police returned to the Schuylkill River in manayunk a today after investigators got a look at Surveillance Video from near the bar where montgomery was last seen on thanksgiving morning. Reporter well, police have not released this new video which apparently shows Shane Montgomery shortly after leaving this bar in manayunk, but hopefully it will provide them with new hope in finding him. New video may provide new clues in the search for Shane Montgomery. The West Chester University student went missing early thanksgiving morning after leaving a bar in manayunk. Now Law Enforcement Officials Say theyve seen a glimpse of the 21yearold on Surveillance Video from this camera behind christies nail salon in manayunk. Yesterday they came for more and today they came again for more but i dont know if they find shane or not. I dont know. I hope they document the video reportedly shows shane walking toward a bridge over the Manayunk Canal towards a parking lot near the Schuylkill River, then vanishing. That image captured at 1 50 after montgomery left kildares pub about a block away. On wednesday Police Dive Teams concentrated their search on that part of the river looking for any sign of the missing student. Somewhere somehow. Doesnt look good but we still pray and hope. New tonight, two suspects are in custody after a student is stabbed on drexel universitys campus. Investigators say six students were involved in a fight, one of them was stabbed in the back. Also new tonight at 10 00 take a good look at the white sedan in these surveillance photos. Police say the occupant had just committed an Armed Robbery inside the deptford mall. Detectives say the male suspect pulled out a gun inside the macys on monday night and ordered an employee in the lingerie section to empty the register. Funeral arrangements are set for philadelphia firefighter joyce craiglewis, the first female firefighter killed in the line of duty. This morning investigators returned to the scene of yesterdays fire on middleton street in west oak lane. A philadelphia man watches on his phone as a robber breaks into his house while he was out eating thanksgiving dinner. This happened in the 1200 block of rodman street in Washington Square west. Eyewitness News Reporter justin finch talked exclusively to the homeownerrer. Reporter surveillance cam view an unwelcome thanksgiving guest a burglar breaking into this home on the 1200 block of rodman street while the homeowners were an hour away with loved ones. We got the text alert that the alarm was triggered. Reporter he says he called 911 right away but before Police Arrived he caught that crook creeping through his living room on his cell phone. All thanks to an app linked to his alarm and surveillance system. Rolled the video back and actually saw the burglar in the house going up the stairs to the master bedroom. Reporter the burglar had only 30 seconds before the alarm began blaring so in about two minutes he barges in steals a dresser organizer and jewelry too. He left from a back door the same way he got in. The homeownerrer now realizes the crook may never have gotten in had he fully secured his back sliding door which leads to a fenced in sunken patio which abuts a parking lot. Coast guard brought ron ingraham to shore after he was rescued off the coast of hawaii. Thanksgiving day he radioed his 25foot vessel was take on water. Big waves damaged his mast and radio antenna and search crews couldnt find him. Ingraham sent out one last distress call on tuesday and thats when the coast guard tracked him down. The date of David Lettermans final broadcast was announced today. The popular cbs host will say goodbye to the late show and his audience on may 20th of 2015. Letterman officially announced his retirement back in april. With more than 32 years at this job, hes the longest tenured late night talk show host ever. Right now the snow moving toward bensalem but in philadelphia, just on the cold side and on the jersey side, temperatures are in the 30s.
