Prateik Babbar, son of renowned actress Smita Patil, attended the 2024 Cannes Film Festival to represent her film Manthan . He made his debut at the event with the cast and director Shyam Benegal. Babbar thanked the Film Heritage Foundation for restoring the 1976 film and acknowledged Amul for their ongoing support.
