(CNA photo) TAIPEI (Taiwan News) Presidential Office Spokesman Xavier Chang (張惇涵) on Monday (Feb. 8) announced that President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) and Vice President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) will not visit any temples this Lunar New Year due to coronavirus concerns. Chang said that regarding the customary special Presidential Office NT$1 coins, they have already been delivered to the Legislative Yuan and will be distributed to all legislators. The coins will also be given to military and police units, as well as Taiwanese diplomats, foreign embassy staff, and other overseas Taiwanese dignitaries, Liberty Times reported.
