Far Cry 6 is another solid entry in the popular shooter sandbox. Unfortunately, there's not much to say beyond that. Ubisoft's inability to innovate seems to be an endemic problem at the studio right now. Although the art is gorgeous and the main villain is great, there's absolutely nothing new here. That might not be a bad thing, though, if you love the Far Cry formula.
Ubisoft have released a new
Far Cry 6 teaser, giving fans a glimpse into what’s to come ahead of the gameplay reveal later today (28 May).
The anticipation surrounding the release of the next
Far Cry has fans everywhere pretty much panting with excitement. To up the ante, Ubisoft have released a new 35-second teaser that shows images of luxurious paintings of El Presidente Antón Castillo (portrayed by
Breaking Bad‘s Giancarlo Esposito) alongside several newspapers with bold headlines.
In the teaser, Presidente Antón Castillo is addressing the “true citizens of Yara”, while accusing agitators of spreading “chaos, confusion, and noise.” Promising to stand beside them to help defend Yara, he warns that they need to “sacrifice in the name of progress”.
