The attention of the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) condemns Ugandan opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi’s downright subversive support for Venezuela’s clowned, self-declared, imposter president, Juan Guaido.
It would be noted that unless it is compelled to do so, the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) has often resisted joining issues with traitors and treacherous politicians in the likes of so-called Uganda opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi (aka Bobi Wine), as a matter of principle. This is because the Uganda opposition leader has proved times without number his support for unconstitutional and undemocratic change of government in Venezuela.

The acrimonious exchanges of insults between the ruling NRM, which won the January 2021 presidential election, and the losing opposition National Unity Platform has further diminished the already remote prospects of talks to resolve the impasse over elections.
According to NUP insiders, there are efforts initiated by foreign groups to have both President Museveni and his fiercest challenger in the January poll Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu to sit down for talks.
“They are establishing contact with the president to see how the country moves forward after a bitter election. Even at NUP, there have been a number of meetings to try and convince Kyagulanyi to talk to Museveni,” an insider said.

The National Unity Platform’s Flag Bearer, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, aka, Bobi Wine, has rejected early results from the January 14 Uganda Presidential Elections.
According to reports, with 29.4% of votes from Thursday’s ballot counted, Museveni had won 1,852,263 votes, or 63.9%, while opposition candidate Bobi Wine had 821,874 (28.4%).
The 76-year-old President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni of the National Resistance Movement says he is standing for stability, calling Kyagulanyi “a product of the West.”
He has pledged to concede if the election remains free and fair.
The ‘former’ Freedom fighter Museveni, took over office on January 29, 1986 through armed uprising and returned the country to democratic mandate in 1996, winning and commencing his first of five terms.
